Enquiries by the Commissioners of Public Works as to whether any suitable accommodation for the Gárda Síochána can be rented in Mullingar are being continued, and in the event of such rented premises not being obtainable, steps will be taken with a view to the restoration of the old Royal Irish Constabulary Barracks for use as a Gárda Síochána Station.
