Vol. 6 No. 22

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CINEMA TRADE SHOWS.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is intended to withdraw the liberty, at present enjoyed by the cinema trade, of the trade showing their films in bond at any picture theatre, and to restrict trade shows in bond to the premises of the Irish Bonded Film Store, Ltd.

It is not intended to withdraw for the present the concession under which imported films may be trade shown at any suitable picture theatre under conditions laid down by the Revenue Commissioners. The cinema trade has been so informed.

The second part of the question does not, therefore, arise.
