Vol. 6 No. 40

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DEPENDENTS' ALLOWANCE (KILDARE).

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that Mrs. Helen Spry, of 17 Fair View, Kildare, has not received dependents' allowance since the 7th December, 1923, in respect of her husband, Private George Spry, Army No. 28889, who attested 6th December, 1922, and was discharged 14th March (discharge paper dated 15th April, 1924), and whether instructions will be given to expedite payment of arrears?

A cheque has now been sent to Mrs. Spry which clears all arrears due in respect of dependents' allowance up to the date of her husband's discharge from the Army.
