WRITTEN ANSWERS. - PAYMENT OF WITNESSES' EXPENSES.

asked the Minister for Home Affairs if he will state the reason of the delay in making payment of expenses to Charles McEleney and other witnesses in the court in the case of the State v. Wm. Porter who was tried at Lifford, Tirconaill Quarter Sessions, January, 1923.

There is no information regarding this matter in my possession at present, but inquiries are being instituted and a communication will be addressed to the Deputy in due course.
