Vol. 7 No. 4

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - PAYMENT OF DOG TAX—SUGGESTED CHANGE OF DATE.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will consider the advisability of changing the date of payment of the dog tax from April 1st to January 1st, as it would have the probable effect of lessening the amount of poison laid on land during the lambing season whereby many inoffensive dogs are at present destroyed.

The suggestion will be considered.

Arising out of the Minister's answer, may I say——

The Deputy cannot make a speech.
