WRITTEN ANSWERS. - ACCOUNT FOR BREAD SUPPLIES.

asked the Minister for Defence if he can explain the delay in settling the account of Mrs. E. Carroll, High Street, Tuam, Co. Galway, for £24 19s., due for bread supplied to the National Forces on their arrival in Tuam in 1922, and if he will see that payment is expedited.

Payment of the account referred to was included in a cheque for £39 9s. issued to Messrs. Carroll's Bakery, Tuam, on the 29th December, 1922.
