CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - WORKING HOURS UNDER GOVERNMENT GRANT.

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state whether any order has been issued from his Department fixing the number of hours per week to be worked by men engaged under the Government grant.

No order has been issued on this matter, and it is understood that the hours of work properly applicable to road maintenance are generally observed.

Could the Minister say what are the hours?

The hours vary in different counties.
