Vol. 7 No. 10

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - STRAFFAN POSTAL AFFAIRS.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state whether the delivery of letters at Straffan Village, Co. Kildare, and neighbourhood, could not be at least one hour earlier than it is at present, and also if he is aware that the people of the district have considerable difficulty in getting stamps since the abolition of the post office; whether the postman, although supposed to do so, rarely carries any stamps.

I am having inquiry made into the circumstances, and will communicate with the Deputy later.
