WRITTEN ANSWERS. - NENAGH DEATH CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Defence if he has received an application from Mrs. Alice Byrne, 7 Manor Cottage, Mountmellick, Leix, for a pension in respect of her son, Captain Terence Byrne, I.R.A., who was killed in Nenagh on June 30th, 1922; if he is aware that this woman is in very poor circumstances, and if he will give instructions to have this claim investigated and a decision announced as soon as possible.

An application was received on the 13th instant from Mrs. Byrne. It will be disposed of with the least possible delay.
