Vol. 7 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - RE-INVESTIGATION OF CLAIM.

SEAN Mac GIOLLA AN RIOGH

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that Mr. D. McGonigle, merchant, Dowra, Co. Cavan, has a claim for compensation for losses sustained in consequence of his premises being commandeered by the National Army, the losses in question amounting to £1,677 7s. 6d., and for which £385 was granted by the Board of Works as compensation, and if he will have this claim re-investigated with a view to granting compensation to an equitable extent.

I regret I have not the answer to this question, and I would like if the Deputy would repeat the question on Tuesday.
