Vol. 7 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - ATHLONE WATER SUPPLY.

SEÁN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state why payment of £334 3s. 3d. has not been paid to the Athlone Urban Council for water supplied to the Custume Military Barracks; further, if he is aware that in answer to a similar question on the 15th February, 1924, the early settlement of this claim was promised, and whether he will state if the agreement submitted by the Clerk of the Council to cover further water supply has been accepted, and, if so, when is it likely that the Clerk will be notified to that effect and payment made of the sum mentioned.

A cheque for the amount in question has been issued by the Office of Public Works. The agreement submitted by the Clerk to the Athlone Urban Council is about to be completed.
