Vol. 7 No. 20

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - KILDARE TRADER'S ACCOUNT.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that a sum of £19 19s. 6d. is still due to Mr. William Ryan, saddler and harness maker, of Claregate Street, Kildare, on account of saddles, etc., commandeered by Commandant McGreel, 1st Cavalry Reserve, on the 1st July, 1922, who gave an official order for same and told Mr. Ryan that he would be paid in due course, whether Captain O'Donoghue some time afterwards asked for and was given the official order, so that the claim might be verified; further, whether more than ten applications for payment have been sent in without result, and whether he will have enquiries made with a view to immediate payment.

A payable order for £19 19s. 6d. in settlement of his claim has been forwarded to Mr. Ryan.
