Vol. 7 No. 27

[WRITTEN ANSWERS.] - CASHEL ARMY ACCOUNT.

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the Minister for Defence if he can state the reason for the delay in making payment to Mr. M.E. O'Grady, Main Street, Cashel, for repairs to a motor car, No. I.F. 1746, carried out at the request of the military authorities.

The circumstances of Mr. O'Grady's claim were very complicated and took a great amount of time to elucidate. Furthermore, legal advice had to be sought as to the propriety of admitting the claim as a charge against Army funds. However, it is expected that it will practicable to effect its settlement within a fortnight.
