CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ACQUIRING OF MEATH ESTATE.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he will state how soon the Aclare estate, Drumconrath, Co. Meath, consisting of the townlands of Carintown, Mooneystown, Greonan, Rathdranna and part of Drumconrath, containing about 2,000 acres, is likely to be acquired, and for which lands there are in the district about one hundred and fifty landless men and uneconomic holders who would be suitable and deserving tenants.

Mr. HOGAN

The lands referred to appear to be situate on the estate of A. M. Singleton, which will be dealt with as soon as practicable.
