Vol. 8 No. 5

CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - CALLAN LAUNDRY CLAIM.

EAMON O DUBHGHAILL

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that Margaret Connell, Mill Street, Callan, has made repeated applications without success for the sum of £2 5s. 0d., representing wages due in respect of work done by her as laundress to National troops stationed at Callan; whether, seeing that this woman is solely dependent on her wages, he will expedite payment of this amount at an early date.

No application appears to have been received at Headquarters from Margaret Connell for wages in respect of laundry work. A communication has, however, been addressed to her regarding the matter.
