Vol. 8 No. 12

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MOTOR OWNER'S CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state what compensation, if any, has been awarded, and whether it has yet been paid to Aiden J. O'Farrell, Bennett's Bridge, Co. Kilkenny, for repairs to his motor car, which was commandeered by the National Army.

Compensation in respect of repairs to the Ford motor car commandeered from Mr. O'Farrell by the Army has not yet been assessed, as it has not been found possible up to the present to trace the car in question. Special investigations are, however, being made in the matter, and it is hoped that an early settlement will be arrived at.
