CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - POST OFFICE OFFICIAL'S RETIREMENT.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that Patrick Joseph Egan, a sorting clerk and telegraphist at Waterford Post Office, applied for retirement under Article 10 of the Treaty; that his application was admitted by the Civil Service (Compensation) Committee, and that he was released from service on the 17th May, and, further, if he can state when an award will be made, and whether he will expedite a settlement of same.

Mr. Egan's award of compensation under Article 10 of the Treaty was notified to the Department of Posts and Telegraphs on the 12th instant.
