Vol. 8 No. 14

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - NENAGH OLD AGE PENSION CLAIM.

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the reasons for refusing to sanction payment of an old age pension to Rody Kennedy, Gurthnagrona, Templederry, Nenagh, which had been granted on the 8th February, 1924, by the Nenagh Pension Committee.

An appeal in this case came before me recently on the ground of means. A local investigation was made by one of the Department's inspectors, and on full consideration of his report I was not satisfied that the applicant's means were within the statutory limit for the receipt of a pension.
