Vol. 8 No. 14

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CAHIRCIVEEN FISHERMEN'S ACCOUNT.

TOMAS MAC EOIN

asked the Minister for Defence whether he has received an account from Mr. James Keating, of Cahirciveen, on behalf of himself and a crew of three men of the motor fishing boat "Erin's Isle," who were engaged by the National Army to convey munitions and men from Cahirciveen to Valencia, Waterville, and Kenmare, from August to December, 1922, and whether he is aware that because this account has not been paid the men are handicapped with this year's fishing owing to want of gear, and whether in view of these facts he will expedite payment.

A claim for £37 received from Mr. Keating has been paid.

Will the Minister say when?

Yesterday.
