Vol. 8 No. 19

CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - TRADE LOANS ADVISORY COMMITTEE.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he can state before the recess what persons he proposes to appoint to act on the Advisory Committee to be set up under the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Bill, when enacted.

The answer to this question depends on:—1. The date on which the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Bill becomes law. 2. The date on which the Dáil rises for the Summer Recess. 3. The decision as to whether one committee or two committees will be practicable, or, if practicable, necessary. 4. The favourable or unfavourable replies returned by those who may be invited to act. As it is not possible for me to forecast the future, I am not in a position to answer the question in the affirmative. I hesitate, however, to give a definitely negative reply.

Will the Minister arrange for that reply to be printed and circulated in red ink?

With the humorous parts underlined.
