CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - COMPENSATION FOR MOTOR BICYCLE.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that a motor cycle, the property of Mr. John Hendy, Cut-Bush, Curragh Camp, valued at £60, was commandeered from the premises of Mr. James Warren, Moore Abbey, Monasterevan, by Lieutenant Egan, National Army, on December 26th, 1922, and whether he will see that this man, who has put in a claim, is duly compensated.

Mr. Hendy was requested on the 3rd ultimo to furnish particulars of his purchase of the motor cycle. On their receipt his claim will be duly considered.
