WRITTEN ANSWERS. - PROFICIENCY PAY.

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that proficiency pay at the rate of two shillings per day for twenty-seven days, from September 21st, 1923, is due to Laurence Whelan, Abbey Street, Nenagh, ex-Volunteer Irish National Army, and if in view of the fact that several applications have been made for this money he will arrange to have it paid forthwith.

Payment of the arrears of pay due to Mr. Whelan will be made forthwith.
