Vol. 9 No. 1

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ATHLONE COMPENSATION CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that Mr. Patrick Doolin, of Annagh, Ballykeeran, Athlone, was awarded the sum of £175 compensation in December, 1923, for the destruction of his out-offices by British Forces, and that so far he has not received settlement of his claim, and whether he will see that this award is paid without further delay.

The claim referred to by the Deputy has been received by the Compensation (Ireland) Commission, who have as yet made no award in the case. Any award which the Commission may make will have attention immediately on its receipt in my Department.
