Vol. 9 No. 3

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - AN EX-SOLDIER'S CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Defence whether a claim for fourteen days' pay and allowances on discharge has been received from Mr. William Wynne, late No. 54110, 3rd Infantry Battalion, and whether he can state how long this claim has been under investigation, and when it is likely to be settled.

It was not finally decided until the 14th August to pay any claim similar to Mr. Wynne's. I regret that delay then occurred owing to a difficulty in tracing his pay book. The claim has now, been settled.
