Vol. 9 No. 4

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - FOOD AND DRUGS INSPECTORS FOR CO. CORK.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state when it is expected to have officers of the Gárda Síochána appointed under the Food and Drugs and Weights and Measures Acts in Cobh and all other urban centres in North-East and East Cork.

So far as the Deputy's question relates to the appointment of Inspectors of Weights and Measures, I wish to refer him to an answer given by me on the 2nd July, 1924, to Deputy Tomás de Nogla.

With regard to the question of the appointment of Inspectors of Food and Drugs, such Inspectors have been appointed for each important town and village, including Cobh, in County Cork.
