Vol. 9 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ROAD RECONSTRUCTION IN CO. CORK.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he can state the reason for the delay in starting steamrolling under the Trunk Road Grant Scheme in Dunmanway and Skibbereen, and whether, in view of the unemployment prevailing in both towns, he will have instructions issued to have the work started.

I communicated with the County Surveyor on this matter, and he has telegraphed to me as follows:—

"No roller available at present for rolling at Dunmanway or Skibbereen unless work closed elsewhere."
