Vol. 9 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - ENNISCORTHY CLAIM AGAINST ARMY.

asked the Minister for Defence if an amount of £47 16s. 11d. is due to Mr. Laurence Codd, Enniscorthy, for goods supplied to National Troops in that area during the months of July, August, and September, 1922, and if he will state when it is proposed to pay same.

No claim appears to have been received in the Department of Defence from Mr. Codd. He is, however, been communicated with in the matter.

Would the Minister be surprised to hear that Mr. Codd has an acknowledgment from the Ministry that the claim has been received?

It would not surprise me. I would be glad if the Deputy would send me the acknowledgment.
