CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - LIMERICK COUNTY COUNCIL OFFICIALS.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he can state the number of officials employed by the Limerick County Council, with their respective salaries, and emoluments, if any; also, the number of ex-officials receiving pensions, and the amounts of their pensions, respectively.

From the information avialable in my Department, it appears that, exclusive of rate collectors who are paid by commission, there were 30 officials employed on the 1st of April last, receiving salaries amounting to £7,912, with additional emoluments of £1,499. There were 20 officials, including 13 rate collectors, in receipt of pensions amounting to £1,512 7s. 3d.
