Vol. 9 No. 24

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - LANDS FOR RELIEF OF CONGESTION IN MAYO.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether he is aware that the De Clifford Estate, Co. Mayo, was acquired by the Congested Districts Board over twelve years ago; that acute congestion exists in the townlands of Acres, Coolaghbawn, Facefield and Derrowel on this Estate, and if he will state what steps, if any, are being taken to stripe and divide the large grazing ranches and untenanted lands on this estate to relieve the acute congestion existing.

Owing to the short notice given of this question I have been unable to get all the information which the Deputy requires. I shall be glad, therefore, if he will kindly repeat the question next week.
