Vol. 9 No. 25

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - REGISTRATION OF IRISH MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS.

asked the Vice-President whether he can state what is the present position with regard to the registration of Irish medical practitioners in the Saorstát and in Great Britain.

I will be dealing with this matter. The question raised really is a very simple one, but it has been so complicated by certain ill-advised and unbalanced utterances within the last week that I think it cannot be dealt with suitably by way of a reply to a Parliamentary question. I put it to the Deputy who is responsible for the question that if he would give me an opportunity of answering this to-morrow by raising the question on the adjournment I would be prepared to make a detailed statement on the whole position.
