Vol. 9 No. 25

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CO. DONEGAL MALICIOUS INJURIES.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he has received from the County Court Judge of Donegal, decrees dated 9th June, 1924, for malicious injuries to property in favour of Major R.L. Moore, of Cliff, Ballyshannon, for £745 0s. 0d., £4 12s. 0d., £150 0s. 0d., £30 0s. 0d., £80 0s. 0d., and £1,125 0s. 0d., and costs, and if he can state when payment may be expected.

A report recommending payment of £1,125 and decrees for the other amounts referred to in the Deputy's question have been received in my Department. Subject to certain deductions which it is necessary to make payment of the decrees will be authorised at an early date. Certain further enquiries are necessary in connection with the amount recommended in the report.
