Vol. 10 No. 6

PRIVATE BUSINESS. - MOTION BY DEPUTY DARRELL FIGGIS.

That in the opinion of the Dáil it is expedient that the Executive Council should prepare, and as soon as may be lay before the Dáil, measures providing for the abolition of a Standing Army and for the creation of a National Militia (resumed).

May I suggest, seeing that there is actually no House, that this business might be adjourned until the next day for private business. One or two Deputies mentioned to me that they had intended speaking on the matter. They asked me when it was coming on, and I said three o'clock. This may not take a great deal of time and may I suggest that it be left over.

Very well. I move the adjournment until Wednesday, March the 4th.
