Vol. 10 No. 6

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - BROWN ESTATE (CO. MEATH).

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if the estate of May Brown, containing 682 statute acres, at Trimblestown, Trim, Co. Meath, has been acquired for distribution by the Land Commission, and, if so, when the division of this estate will take place.

The Land Commission have made a proposal to purchase some 919 acres of untenanted land in the townland of Carranstown Little, Killaconnigan and Cloneycavan, on the estate of May Brown, County Meath, which the owner has accepted. The Commissioners are not, however, in a position to take over possession of the lands pending the showing title thereto by the owner.
