I would refer the Deputy to my reply to a question put to me by Deputy Thrift on this matter on the 13th February. As the amount of grant to be paid to Secondary Teachers in future has not yet been decided upon, I am not in a position to announce the rate of minimum salary which schools will be required to pay their teachers.
