Vol. 10 No. 22

CENSORSHIP OF FILMS (AMENDMENT) BILL, 1925—FIRST STAGE.

Mr. O'HIGGINS

I move for permission to have printed and circulated a Bill to provide for the control of advertisements of cinematograph pictures, and for that and other purposes to amend the Censorship of Films Act, 1923. Some slight amendments are found by experience to be necessary in the Act which we passed in 1923.

Leave given to introduce the Bill. Second Stage fixed for Wednesday, 29th April.
