CUSTOMS RESOLUTIONS. - RESOLUTION No. 10.—CUSTOMS.
That Section 15 (which imposes a customs duty on sugar confectionery) of the Finance Act, 1924 (No. 27 of 1924) be construed and have effect as if
(a) the words "or saccharin" were inserted in sub-section (1) thereof immediately after the words "in respect of any spirits" contained in that sub-section, and
(b) the words "or saccharin" and the words "except saccharin" now respectively contained in sub-section (3) thereof were omitted wherever they respectively occur in that sub-section.
It is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution shall have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1913.
