That the provisions of Standing Order 88 as to the giving of notice for the taking of the Fifth Stage of a Bill be suspended to permit of the Fifth Stage of the Shannon Electricity Bill, 1925, being taken to-day. |
I outlined the reasons before why I felt urged to put down this notice of motion. It was necessary to give the Seanad as much time as possible to consider the Bill, which has now gone through its Fourth Stage in the Dáil.
