asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether he is aware that nothing has yet been done to relieve the acute congestion which prevails amongst the small holders in the Ballinacourty area near Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, and if he will see that ameliorative measures are put into operation at the earliest possible date.

The Land Commission have fixed a price in respect of 1,373 acres of untenanted land in the district referred to, and have gazetted a further area of 215 acres in the same district. These lands will be divided practically immediately.
