The following message has been received from the Seanad:—

Go n-aontuíonn an Seanad leis an Dáil ina rún a ritheadh an 9adh lá den mhí seo i dtaobh an Bhille Maoine Tionnscail agus Tráchtála (Cosaint), 1925, agus go n-aontuíd mola na Dála go ndéanfadh an CóChoiste a Chathaoirleach féin do cheapa agus a quorum féin do shocrú.

That the Seanad concurs with the Dáil in its resolution passed on the 9th instant relative to the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925, and agrees with its suggestion that the Joint Committee shall appoint its own Chairman and fix its own quorum.

Following on that message I desire to move:—"That the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Bill, 1925, be committed to a Joint Committee of the Dáil and Seanad, consisting of seven members of each House, with power to send for persons, papers and records."

Question put and agreed to.

I move:—"That the Committee of Selection nominate seven Deputies to serve on the Joint Committee."
