Vol. 13 No. 2

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - REPAIR OF GALWAY ROADS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether it is intended to repair the roads leading to the villages or townlands of Ballaghduff East and West, and Miltown during the coming winter; whether it was not a condition of sale imposed on the Congested Districts Board at the time of sale of the estate that these roads were to be put in good repair immediately succeeding sale, and whether the terms that bound the Congested Districts Board then are not now binding on the Department of Lands and Agriculture, or alternatively on the Land Commission.

Mr. HOGAN

It is necessary to have local enquiries made concerning the subject matter of this question. I shall be glad if the Deputy will defer it to a convenient day next week.
