Vol. 13 No. 2

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - RETURN OF SPORTING GUN.

asked the Minister for Finance if he can state when Mr. Michael McGrath, of Broadleas, Ballymore-Eustace, Co. Kildare, may expect the return of or payment of compensation for the loss of a sporting gun, miniature rifle, and seventy-five rounds of sporting ammunition taken from him on the 18th November, 1921, by Lieutenant O'Neill, at present serving in the National Army, and certified by him on the 25th February, 1925.

As the arms and ammunition referred to by the Deputy cannot be traced, the claim for compensation has been referred to the Committee appointed under the Indemnity Act and will be considered by the Committee in due course.
