Vol. 13 No. 16

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - OLD AGE PENSION CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is aware that John Barkee, of Muskeagh, Co. Wicklow, No. in P.O. Register 1128, has been refused an old age pension on the grounds of insufficient evidence of age; whether he is aware that four declarations were submitted declaring the claimant to be over seventy years of age, and whether, in view of these evidences, he will reconsider the awarding of a pension.

A pension of nine shillings a week as from the 1st July, 1925, was allowed on the 10th ultimo, in this case.
