Vol. 13 No. 17

PRIVATE BUSINESS. - EXPIRING LAWS BILL, 1925—FIRST STAGE.

I move that leave be granted to introduce the Expiring Laws Bill, 1925, a Bill to continue for a limited period certain expiring enactments.

Leave granted. Second Stage ordered for Wednesday, 16th December. 1925.

I would ask the Dáil to facilitate the taking of the remaining stages of this Bill next Wednesday. The Bill, I believe, will be circulated this evening and a printed memorandum will be sent to Deputies showing the effect of the laws which are to be continued. I would ask the Dáil to facilitate the passage of the Bill in order to enable the Seanad to deal with it. I would like to have all the Stages completed next Wednesday.
