CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - KILDARE MAN'S GUN.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that the Officer in Charge of Ordnance, Island Bridge Barracks, Dublin, informed Mr. Jeremiah O'Keefe, Land Steward, Eyrefield Lodge, Curragh Camp, on the 14th September, 1925, that his gun, Serial No. C/8391, and seven cartridges, Serial No. C/8392, had been traced and would be returned to him on receipt of firearm certificate; whether he is aware that Mr. O'Keefe forwarded by registered letter to the Ordnance Officer game certificate No. 17522, value £2 0s. 0d., on the 2nd November, 1925, and whether he will expedite return of gun, ammunition and firearm certificate to Mr. O'Keefe.

The facts are as stated by the Deputy. The gun and cartridges were sent to Naas military barracks on the 15th instant, and Mr. O'Keefe has been advised accordingly in order that he may make arrangements to take delivery of them. The firearms certificate was returned to him on the 10th instant.
