Vol. 13 No. 20

SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATE: RELIEF WORKS.

I move: "That leave be given by the Dáil to introduce the following supplementary estimate for the service of the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1926, viz., Vote No. 19 (Relief Schemes)."

Could the Minister give any indication as to what the amount of this supplementary estimate will be?

I will try to circulate the estimate to-night or in the morning.

When does the Minister propose to take the estimate?

On Friday, but if it so happens that we find ourselves early to-morrow without business it would be a matter for consideration whether the Dáil would allow it to be taken to-morrow. I had intended it to be taken on Friday.

If the estimate could be circulated to-night so as to reach Deputies in the morning it might be taken to-morrow instead of on Friday. Is there agreement on that?

Agreed.

Question: "That leave be given to introduce the supplementary estimate"—put and agreed to.
