WRITTEN ANSWERS. - DRAINAGE OF OFFALY LANDS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he received a memorial from landowners in the district of Clonmore, Edenderry, Offaly, requesting the Land Commission to drain the lands, their property, in the district, and if he can now state what action he proposes to take regarding this application.

The Land Commission are unable, from the particulars furnished, to trace the receipt of the memorial referred to. If the name of the estate is furnished together with the date on which the memorial was sent, further inquiry will be made.
