CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - OUTDOOR RELIEF IN SAORSTAT.

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he can state the average number of recipients of outdoor relief per week and the average amount paid to each recipient during the years ended December 31st, 1924 and 1925, in the Saorstát, and the weekly average number in receipt of outdoor relief, and the average amount paid to each recipient in the administrative counties of North and South Tipperary during the same periods.

I regret figures are not readily available for the periods asked for by the Deputy, nor in regard to the weekly average number in receipt of home assistance. I am, however, giving the fullest available information for the periods stated.
