CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - WESTMEATH ESTATES.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture how far proceedings have advanced in the Land Commission for the acquisition and distribution of the following estates in County Westmeath and the acreage it is proposed to acquire in each case, viz.:—Lands of Crule, Loughnavalley, owner Wm. Brabason; lands of Littleton, owner H. Magill; lands of Curry, owner Thomas Killian, Junior; lands of Shinglas, Ballymore, owner Colonel Malone; lands of Ballinagore, owner Mrs. Jessie Logan; lands of Lougheenlow, owner Mr. Daniel of Newforest; lands of Sheagh, owner Mr. Devinish Mears; lands of Coolure, Street, late Wilson Estate; lands of Coolatore, Moate, owner Mr. H.A. Upton; lands of Moyvoughley, owner Mrs. Mary Maher; lands of Joanstown, owners Messrs. Reed and McEndoe; lands of Fairy Hall, Rathowen, owner Harry Bond, Esq.; lands of Kilmore, Street, former owner Edward Wakefield; lands of Ballinive, owner Joseph Skally; lands of Clonkeen, owner Mr. Robert English; and, further, what amount of land has been divided in Co. Westmeath under the Land Act, 1923, how many uneconomic holdings have been made economic, and how many new tenancies have been created.

The particulars asked for by the Deputy are being compiled, and will be communicated to him by letter.
