Vol. 16 No. 12

CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. - LANDLESS MEN IN MEATH.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether it is the intention of the Land Commission when allotting the Georges Estate, Liscarton, Co. Meath, to consider the claims of the large number of landless men in the district, and whether he is aware that the Land Commission Inspector, it is stated, when investigating local claims, failed to approach applicants of the labouring class, and if such action has his approval.

Mr. HOGAN

The inspector is at present engaged interviewing persons who applied for land on this estate and has not yet completed his investigations.
