CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CUTTING OF MEATH TURF DAMS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the Land Commission have issued instructions prohibiting the cutting of turf dams on the Balrath Bury Estate, Co. Meath, and whether, in view of the fact that there are seven residents of Balrath who for years have cut dams of turf on this estate, and that they are now unable to procure fuel, he will have instructions issued permitting them to cut turf on the estate as heretofore.

The Land Commission are unable to identify the Bury estate referred to in the question as the subject of proceedings for sale under the Land Act, 1923.
